I am a somatic psychotherapist whose specialties include trauma resolution and harm reduction. I utilize an integrative psychotherapy approach which includes mindfulness practices, positive psychology, cognitive behavioral tools, mindbody and holistic health modalities. My practice includes adult survivors of childhood abuse and illness, adolescent girls, couples, alternative families, and parents of children with chronic medical conditions. I address:

  • PTSD, trauma
  • grief and loss
  • disability
  • medical trauma
  • substance misuse and abuse
  • attachment parenting
  • adoption (including transracial adoption)
  • adolescent sexuality
  • LGBTQI / queer concerns.

I am committed to racial and social justice, food justice and an examination of power and privilege.  I work from an intersectional feminist lens that is relational and trauma-informed.  I have a private practice in Albany and San Francisco.

MindBodyMend seeks to empower individuals to act from their authentic hearts, to speak their truth, to heal from their wounds, and to carry a vision forward of themselves as whole, perfect and complete. MindBodyMend offers an opportunity to return to health, balance and empowerment.

MindBodyMend is a healing space that privileges neither body nor mind, but focuses on making positive changes in self care, self love and interpersonal communication with integration of both body and mind.
